Bethany Bloomer

About Bethany: My name is Bethany Bloomer and I am a senior in the Honors College double majoring in broadcast journalism and in Spanish. Last spring, during a semester abroad, I studied at the University of Barcelona in Spain. This sparked my passion for traveling.  The backpack journalism trip to Nepal will be the 17th country I have been too. During my collegiate career I’ve had the opportunity to co-host a radio show, intern at KBZK in Bozeman, Montana and I’m currently the Associated Students of Washington State University Director of Communication. I love to experience new things and have a craving for communicating and speaking in front of others. In my future career, I hope to become a foreign correspondent. This will combine my passion for visual storytelling with my new found love for travel.
